BANGKOK, 5 September 2018 (NNT) – In preparation for the Thailand 4.0 era, private companies have joined hands to provide small and medium-sized businesses in the industrial sector with low-interest loans for procurement of robotic equipment.

Uni Arc Company Limited, importer and distributor of industrial robots, has teamed up with several partners, such as BOT Lease (Thailand), BSL Leasing, Bangkok Grand Pacific Lease, Thai Orix Leasing and SMFL Leasing (Thailand), for a soft loan program targeting industrial SMEs. The program is aimed at offering financial support to operators looking to boost their potential by incorporating robotic arms and automated systems into their production process.

The loans have a maximum repayment period of five years, with an interest rate of 2-4 percent and a minimum down payment of 10 percent. Qualified borrowers must be a juristic person of a company that has been in operation for at least three years, with annual sales of 10 million baht or more.
